A Night to Celebrate Excellence in Culture and Sport!

It was a wonderful evening celebrating the vibrant spirit of culture and sports at Hillcrest College!
Staff members looked smart and poised for a night dedicated to recognizing the outstanding achievements made throughout the year. We were honoured to be joined by Skumbuzo Muchenje, the Zimbabwe Women’s Rugby Captain, who delivered an inspiring address anchored on Hillcrest College’s core values of Love, Respect, Community, Perseverance, and Resilience.

At Hillcrest College, we value every aspect of a child’s development — academics, sports, and culture — understanding that each plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded, confident, and capable young people. Through sport and culture, our students learn teamwork, discipline, creativity, leadership, resilience, and respect for diversity — life skills that prepare them to thrive beyond the classroom.

The evening was beautifully organized — from the food to the programme — and everything ran seamlessly. It was not only a night of recognition but also a reminder of the importance of celebrating every learner’s unique talents and contributions.

Indeed, it was a night to remember — a true reflection of the Hillcrest spirit, where excellence, character, and community shine brightly in all that we do.
