This breakthrough highlights strong analytical thinking, teamwork and academic rigour—qualities that continue to define Hillcrest pupils well beyond their school years.
Public Speaking proved to be a particular strength for the College, with Hillcrest recording the highest number of participants advancing to the Semifinals. Tristan Munjoma, Hannah Raja, Danielle Vunyungwi, Jed January and Dannielle Matuku progressed to this stage, demonstrating exceptional confidence, clarity of thought and articulate expression. Across all rounds, both teams demonstrated strategic thinking, teamwork and composure under pressure.
Collectively, these achievements reflect Hillcrest College’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, confident and intellectually capable young people. Whether on the debate floor, the public speaking platform or in academic quiz challenges, Hillcrest pupils continue to distinguish themselves and uphold the values of the school. Hillcrest Schools remains proud of these accomplishments and of the pupils and staff whose dedication ensures the College’s lasting presence on the national stage.
